Recently i keep getting nagged at. My mum, my dad, even total strangers. Wtf...
A week ago i got terribly sick rem? I was at this clinic and getting the medicine from the counter. My mum came over and started nagging at me in front of everyone, telling me to not drink cold water, drink more warm water, remember to eat medicine, finish the antibiotics, rest more, sleep early, etc etc...
And there i was, sick until cannot think straight liao, somemore gotta undergo such torment... Then i suddenly heard a sniggering at my side and turned to look. This young man, prolly a little older than me nia, giggling and smiling at me for all he was worth, giving me a i-totally-understand-your-pain look. Do all mums like to nag so much?
But i appreciate it. Better to have someone nagging at you, then losing tt precious someone...
I was at a polyclinic today. I woke up damn late, and arrived there at lunch time, so the closed the damn counter. Had to wait till 130 before the counter opens and everyone was queuing there.
This ah pek suddenly started talking to me...
AP: How come must queue
Me: Cos they go lunch. Open at 130
AP: Why cannot let us take number so that we can sit down?
Me: Dunno
AP: If those disabled how? V inconsiderate hor the system
Me: Er... Yeah...
AP: Shld let us take queue number ma...
Me: uh.... Yeah...

AP: I come cos my shoulder hurt. Got car door knock on me.
Me: I see...
AP: Here see doc how much arh? 80 cents rite?
Me: O.o Er... think its 8 bucks (Take bus also not so cheap lor... comeon... 80 cents meh!)
AP: Wah! So expensive. Elect PAP liao also must pay so much. Should make it free ma. That why i say PAP no use. Medical care should be free one.
Me: Uh... 8 bucks consultation is decent lar...
AP: Zeng hu sibei bo por... Knn...
Medical care free meh? Seriously, that sounds communistic to me. Might as well food is rationed out... Based on needs and not on merits... Opposition also no chance make it free i suspect. Unless we wanna empty our government coffers just to give out free medical care. Sibsidized rates are cool liao...
AP: Go JB for treatment cheaper. There medicine cheap, everything cheap.
